New strongest conveyor belt?
We have got inquiries regarding an "St 8000", 2200 mm wide, which a manufacturer recently publicly claimed to be world's new strongest conveyor belt. It is said to have an actual breaking strength of 8365 N/mm.
The St 7800 mentioned under strongest conveyor belt, however, has a higher breaking strength of 8634 N/mm, following a safety requirement of the DIN standard.
The so-called St 8000 will probably be installed in 2013 only; the St 7800 was commissioned in 1999.

Copyright violations Established belt manufacturers complain about an increasing number of copyright violations. Mainly emergent Indian and Chinese belt manufacturers are illegally copying illustrations from brochures and websites and use them for their own publications.
Although well-informed users of conveyor belts will detect such wrongdoings, it is an unprofessional behaviour which should be stopped.
