The working principle is based on a change of the splice length.
Magnets are vulcanized into the belt before and behind a splice.
Sensors detect these measuring marks contactlessly.
The elongation of the splice is determined by the distance of the predestined distance of the marks and the measured distance during operation.
Actual parameters like belt speed, temperature and load are processed permanently, determining the individual tolerable splice length. |
