You may have noticed that the diagrams show rectangular splices.
Today, high class splices do not need a bias cut anymore.

However, if your mobile vulcanizing press has an oblique design, you can still apply the bias shape.

One-step splice

(up to St 2000)

Two-step splice

(St 2500 to St 3150)

Three-step splice

(St 3500 to St 4500)

Four-step splice

(St 5000 to St 7500)

Five-step splice

(St 7800 and higher)

The ISO standard 15236/4 additionally describes simple splice patterns called

Organ Pipe Splice

Fir Tree Splice

Finger Splice

Such designs should be used for lower utilized conveyor belts with high safety factors only.
For dimensioning of the conveyor belt strength, the reduced splice strength must be considered!
